Botanical Garden

This time I visited The Botanical Garden, it was founded on august 6 of 1955 by Enrique Perez Arbelaez (a Colombian scientist).  This Garden is based on the discoveries that Jose Celestino Mutis  made in the botanical expedition; he brought many species of plants and animals, some plants are use to produce medicine or some natural paints. Botanical gardens   mission is to promote natural conservation activities.

In the botanical garden has more than 1.800  plant species   and   more than 16.000  copies in an area of 19,5 hectares.

 When I arrived I noticed that it is a calm place with fresh air where you can  learn  more about nature  and   how to take care of it, you can visit this beautiful place every day of the week remember: kids under 3 years  don’t pay , kids from 4 to 12 years pay $1.000 pesos , people from 13 to 59 years pay $2.000 pesos each and people from 60 and up do not pay either.

Well  this place is incredible  because of those beautiful landscapes  and all the information you can learn just having fun with your family and friends.

This is an incredible place where you can share with your family when you want and you can also enjoy the good food of the cafeteria for an incredibly low price as David Polanco said “ I really love this place it is magic, and today I learned  that  some of this plants have more than 50 uses just paying 2.000 pesos wow this is a very good opportunity to learn and realize about your bad actions”  I recommend this place and I guarantee that you will love this place as I did.
